Tuesday 23rd Fladbury 8.5 miles (M)

The walk is 8.5 miles long (Moderate), and begins at Jubilee Bridge picnic site between Fladbury and Charlton.

There are 12 parking places although not all will necessarily be available, so car share if possible.

Meet promptly at Crabs Cross if sharing lifts, ready for a 9.10 departure.

The walk begins at 10.00 from Jubilee Bridge, grid reference 002 456 (on the boundary of OS Explorer maps 205 and 190).

Nearest postcode WR10 3NG. If coming from Redditch on the A46, continue to the Evesham bypass then follow the A44 towards Worcester.

After 3.5 miles turn left towards Fladbury and follow the road through the village and on until Jubilee bridge over the Avon.

The car park is just over the bridge on the left.

The walk is a figure of eight arrangement with the  first circle being the longest.

There are no major gradients and few stiles, although there is one brief section of welly-sucking big-snorkling mud that cannot be avoided!

However, for the most part conditions under foot are ok for a winter walk.

The route passes through the villages of Cropthorne, Charlton and Fladbury with modest views of the Vale of Evesham and beyond,

should the heavens permit.
