Sunday Coach Trip Walks
Coach Trip dates will be Sunday 9th June and Sunday 8th September please save the date if you wish to take advantage of one.
Spaces are still available on the coach trip.
We now have a destination planned for the June 9th Coach trip. It is to The Chess Valley in the Chiltern Hills area of outstanding natural beauty.
As usual, there will be a long walk (approximately 10 Miles) along the valley.
A medium walk (approximately 6 miles) visiting the village of Latimer.
A town visit for the non-walkers to the medieval town of Amersham, where museum town walks are available. There is also a possible three mile walk from the town into the Chess River Valley from Amersham.
Furthermore, there is an open-air lido next door to the car park for keen swimmers, especially if it is a hot day (if the rain ever stops!) However if you want to take advantage of this, advance booking is requested.
The cost of the coach is £20 per person. Usual timings, departure approximately 8.00am return by 7.30pm approximately.
